We received the Youth Creativity Fund Grant

Youth Government has been awarded a $1,000 grant from the Youth Creativity Fund to help power our programming and events connecting youth with local politicians across Kitchener-Waterloo. Check them out here.

Bridging the gap between youth and civic life

We create meaningful, nonpartisan opportunities for young people to engage with government — meeting local elected officials, learning how decisions get made, and building the confidence to have a voice in it.

Local & Community-Focused

We are based right here in Kitchener-Waterloo, working within our own community to make local government more accessible to young people.

Meet Local Politicians

We organize events and discussions that put youth directly in conversation with elected officials and community leaders from across the region.

Non-Partisan

Youth Government is completely non-partisan. We welcome youth of all backgrounds and beliefs, focused only on civic education and engagement.

Founded by local KW students

Youth Government is run by Shaun Goyal and a team of local Kitchener-Waterloo students.
